"NICO is financially stable and has been in existence for around 30 years and these facts assured the employees to continue working with us,'' said Chapola.
Representing the retiring officers Kumpukwe expressed gratitude to NICO's management for theif support which he said prompted them serving both the company and the insurance sector. "We joined the company as young men but now we are ready to face the next phase of life as retirees so that we allow young enterprising citizens to take over responsibilities and make their contributions as well," said Kumpukwe.
In his remarks NICO General Assistant General Manager for Marketing and Production Lester Chinyang'anya noted that the four employees dedication to duty was not a sacrifice but their sign of existence. The event was graced by families of the retired officer and representatives from NICO Holdings, NBS Bank, and Ryalls Hotel.
