TENDER FOR VEHICLE REPAIR SERVICE

NICO General Insurance Company Limited, a market leader in the General Insurance market in Malawi, would like to engage reputable garages in Blantyre, Lilongwe, Mzuzu and Zomba as repair service centres for its esteemed clients for a period of one year, subject to renewal based on performance deliverables.

Tenders are, therefore, invited from interested motor vehicle garages with ability to do high quality vehicle repairs for NICO General Insurance Company’s clients within the shortest possible time and at competitive rates.

Tenders must contain, among others things, the following details:-

1. A detailed account of repair equipment available and used by the garage
2. Turnaround times for repairs
3. Basis of spare parts costing (i.e. whether at cost price or with mark up including rates)
4. Man hour rates
5. Applicable discounts on both spares and labour
6. Details of experience and expertise available at the garage
7. Extra services on offer e.g. towing services and storage conditions and charges thereof
8. Operating base details
9. Sources of supply for spare parts.
